Driver
An 8-hour work schedule predominately runs between the
hours of 6am to 6pm; However a driver may need to work
nights and weekends as needed.
Must have a good driving record and have or be able to
obtain CDL license within 1 month of employment
Rides will train qualified candidates.
Starting pay is $10.35 per
hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential for night
and weekend shifts. After successful completion of a minimum
three-month training period, drivers will receive $10.85 per hour.
Federal Regulations require all safety sensitive employees
have pre-employment drug screen. We are a Drug Free

Rides Mass Transit District is funded in part by the
Delta Regional Authority.
The DRA, a federal-state partnership, is congressionally
mandated to identify and provide economic development
investments to the 252 counties and parishes of the Delta.
The investments come through the DRA's States' Economic
Development Assistance Program to support job creation and
community development projects.
Through the Rural Communities Advancement Program the DRA
funds regional initiatives like Rides Mass Transit District
with the guiding principal to build communities and improve
lives in the Delta Region.
